Their unique arrangements of original music and traditional Irish tunes and songs have secured their presence at such prestigious international events as Milwaukee Irish Festival in the USA, Copenhagen Irish Festival and Celtic Connections. Dallahan met each other through local sessions in Edinburgh and they are established performers of various musical styles from classical and jazz to Balkan and Celtic. "

"To celebrate the release of her eagerly anticipated 3rd album, ‘I Dreamt I Was A Bird’ (released 2.10.15), Lucy Ward is setting out on tour with her new band. Stephen MacLachlan (percussion) and Sam Pegg (bass) return following last year’s successful tours.
On fiddle will be the charismatic Anna Esslemont (Uiscedwr) and on keys, Icelandic newcomer, Helga Ragnarsdottir (Lunar). Be prepared for a night of hard hitting, thoughtful songs beautifully sung and dynamically played. Oh yes and there’s bound to be a good deal of fun or it wouldn’t be a Lucy Ward gig!"
